Bishop Joseph Thompson and wife Pastor Donna Thompson
Bishop Joseph Thompson has been called by God to lead the Ministry at New Anointing Christian Fellowship. He is supported by his wife, Pastor Donna Thompson. They are both Jamaicans who have migrated to Canada.
Bishop Thompson succeeded the late Bishop Mervin Farquharson as senior pastor, he is cognizant of the responsibility of this high calling. He is confident that the God who led Bishop Farquharson is alive and well. God told Joshua, as I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you. Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them. Only be thou strong and very courageous... (Joshua 1:5-7).
He knows that by God's mercy and grace the mission and the mandate that God has given this Church to preach the gospel, teach his people and to pray the prayer of faith to heal the sick and set the captive free, will be accomplished in the name of Jesus.
Assistant Pastor Veleta Farquharson
Pastor Veleta Farquharson was the co-founder of the New Anointing Christian Fellowship Church. Along with her husband, the late Bishop Mervin Farquharson, she had given yeoman's service to the advancement of the Kingdom of God through working in this Ministry for over forty years. She continued to be a tower of strength and a fund of spiritual knowledge during her life. She always put herself forward, as a mature Christian to help others find their way in this dark world. She used the wealth of experience she had garnered in Ministry to give guidance and direction and to edify the body of Christ. She was a woman of wisdom and integrity who stood tall for God.
Pastor Farquharson was resolute in her stand for God and righteousness and affirmed the words of the Psalmist in Psalm 74:9 But I will declare forever, I will sing praises unto the God of Jacob
Resident Pastor Vivion Mason
Vivion Mason came to know Jesus over 35 years ago in 1978. His Passion is to see young people come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. As the youth pastor here at NACF he works closely with the youth ministry as they grow in their walk with God. Pastor Mason is also the resident pastor here at NACF. He is happilly married to his wife Monica Mason for 42 years and together they have four beautiful daughters.
Pastor Dr. Brian Archer
Pastor Dr. Brian Archer has been preaching the gospel since the age of 16. He holds a Doctorate in Electrical Engineering and works full time in his profession and in the ministry, He is the Vice-President and chair of the Farquharson Foundation, teaches the New Converts class and is the NACF community liason. He has a passion for education, for the churches' leadership and involvement in the community and for studying God's word. He is happily married to his lovely wife Dr. Lois Stewart-Archer and they have two wonderful children Michael and Daniella
Pastor Mercy Sackey
Pastor Mercy Sackey gave her life to Jesus Christ at a young age. The hand of God has been upon her life ever since. She has had the privilege to preach internationally and has seen the power of God change lives and enhance prayer lives. Pastor Sackey holds a Post-Baccalaureate Degree in Educational Counselling. She works full time in her profession and part-time in the church. Pastor Sackey serves as the Church Board Secretary, Intercessory Prayers Coordinator, Women’s Ministry Committee Member, Missionary Outreach Coordinator and a Counsellor.
Pastor Sackey’s burning desire is to fulfill God’s will and calling by preaching the gospel, interceding for the saints, and undertaking missionary work. She also desires to see God’s people use their gifts and talents in the house of God so that the church is not deprived. Her favourite bible verse is Jeremiah 18:6 “Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.” Pastor Sackey is blessed with her lovely husband Elder David Sackey and their four wonderful children: Desmond, Clementina, Clement and Daniel.
